A low centre of gravity.
A wide lower counter holds the weight of the arch. The open space above stays generous.
A little tension in the everyday.

Uppercase, lowercase, figures, punctuation, and precomposed Latin accents.

The point of departure was the tension in your references: formal discipline alongside an appetite for strange letters. Pli’s specific proposal is a compact sans with horizontal weight, narrow upright strokes, modest flaring, and a lower case that feels more animated than its capitals.
It was drawn from new cubic outlines and proofed as words. The second drawing strengthens the reverse contrast and opens the counters. The spacing pass corrects the width of m, the return of y, and the heads of d. This is one display master; its next development should follow sustained use.
